What Is An Indoctrination/Orientation Course?
It is a four and a half hour class that all new applicants to the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® are required to take before being approved for REALTOR® membership.
Do I Need To Attend This Indoctrination/Orientation Course?
Yes, if you are a new applicant and have never been a member of the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS®. No, If you were a past member of the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® and have taken the Indoctrination Course some time in the past or if you were an active member of another local Board of REALTORS® in the state of North Carolina.
How Does It Benefit Me?
It fulfills Association membership requirements. It educates you on the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® Bylaws, MLS Rules and Regulations, and the Code of Ethics. The course also satisfies the National Association of REALTORS® requirement of a Code of Ethics class to be taken once every four year period (the current 4 year period is January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2012).
When Do I Need To Take This Indoctrination/Orientation Course?
The Indoctrination/Orientation Course is offered every other month. You should take the course as soon as possible after submitting your REALTOR® application.
When Will I Know When The Course Is Being Offered?
The Director of Membership of the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® will mail a letter to all applicants needing the Indoctrination/Orientation Course. This letter informs you of the date and time that the class will take place.
