Disk Defragment
You may notice your system getting
slower. The reason is often file fragmentation. This is a result of the
normal process of saving and deleting files on your computer being broken
into separate pieces and scattered in different places on your disk. Disk
Defragment finds those separated file clusters and reorganizes them so each
file is stored as one group allowing your computer to operate more
efficiently. This process is commonly referred to as Defrag.
To Defrag:
- 1. Click Start
- 2.
Click Programs

Click Accessories
- 4. Click System Tools
- 5. Click Disk Defragmenter
- 6. Click OK
