There are a lot of benefits to joining FRAR. Just as you serve your clients, the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® organization exists to support its members. Together we gather to exchange ideas, volunteer, assume leadership roles, grow to be influencers in our communities, get first-hand knowledge of real estate trends and take action in protecting our business and industry standards. Our strong advocacy program plays a critical role in real estate policy issues, and keeps members apprised on major development projects that have significant impact on surrounding neighborhoods.

Below you will find the types of membership offered by the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® along with corresponding membership application packets. Click a membership type listed below to view information on how to apply.

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

A REALTOR® may be a licensed Real Estate Broker (Agent) or Appraiser.  If you are newly licensed and your broker-in-charge or Designated REALTOR® has elected to hold membership in the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS®, you must also join as a REALTOR® member.

REALTOR® membership is three-tiered.  When you join the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS®, you also become a member of the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.  This entitles you to membership benefits at all levels.

Please print the REALTOR® Application Packet below.  The information contained in this packet is important, so please read all of it.  Once you have read it, complete the REALTOR® membership application included in the packet and have the broker-in-charge or Designated REALTOR® of your office sign it.  You will then need to contact the Association office to schedule an appointment to submit your application for membership and pay all applicable fees.

If you are currently a REALTOR® member and would like to open a new company with the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® and join the Fayetteville MLS,  you must have an active brokers or appraisers license and be a member in good standing.

Please print the New Company Application below and return it to the Association office.  The set-up fee for a new company is $750 and must be paid at the time your application is submitted.

If you are a REALTOR® that holds membership at another Association and would like to join the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® and the Fayetteville MLS, you must be in good standing with your primary Association and your broker-in-charge or Designated REALTOR® must be a member in good standing with our Association.  Therefore, please print the Secondary Member Packet below.  Once you have completed the Secondary Member Information form and obtained a letter of good standing from your primary Association, contact the Association office to schedule an appointment to submit your form and pay all applicable fees.

If you are the broker-in-charge or Designated REALTOR® of your office, please print the New Company Application and the Secondary Member Packet.  Once you have completed those forms and obtained a letter of good standing from your primary Association, contact the Association office to schedule an appointment to submit your forms and pay all applicable fees.  The set-up fee for a new company is $750 and must be paid along with Secondary Member dues at the time your application is submitted.

We now offer access to the MLS without association membership for Secondary REALTORS® only. Please refer to the flow chart below for details.

Affiliate members are individuals that provide products and services related to the real estate industry. Affiliate membership is two-tiered.  When you join the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS®, you also become a member of the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®.  This entitles you to membership benefits at both levels.

Please print the Affiliate Application Packet below.  Once you have completed the Affiliate membership application, contact the Association office to schedule an appointment to submit your application and pay all applicable fees.

All application submissions to the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® requrie an appointment.  Appointments are available Monday thru Friday 9:00am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 4:00pm.  Please contact the Association at (910) 323-1421 to schedule your appointment.

Indoctrination Course

What Is An Indoctrination/Orientation Course?

It is a four and a half hour class that all new applicants to the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® are required to take before being approved for REALTOR® membership.

Do I Need To Attend This Indoctrination/Orientation Course?

Yes, if you are a new applicant and have never been a member of the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS®.  No, If you were a past member of the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® and have taken the Indoctrination Course some time in the past or if you were an active member of another local Board of REALTORS® in the state of North Carolina.

How Does It Benefit Me?

It fulfills Association membership requirements.  It educates you on the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® Bylaws, MLS Rules and Regulations, and the Code of Ethics.  The course also satisfies the National Association of REALTORS® requirement of a Code of Ethics class to be taken once every four year period (the current 4 year period is January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2016).

When Do I Need To Take This Indoctrination/Orientation Course?

The Indoctrination/Orientation Course is offered every other month.  You should take the course as soon as possible after submitting your REALTOR® application.

When Will I Know When The Course Is Being Offered?

The Director of Membership of the Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS® will mail a letter to all applicants needing the Indoctrination/Orientation Course. This letter informs you of the date and time that the class will take place.
